Rune Book is an essential part of League of Legends that allows players to customize their champion's stats before battle through rune pages. Each page can hold up to 30 runes distributed across different slots.

Page Structure

• Maximum of 20 total rune pages
• Each page contains 30 slots when fully unlocked:
  • 9 Mark slots
  • 9 Seal slots
  • 9 Glyph slots
  • 3 Quintessence slots

Slot Unlocking

• Slots unlock progressively as players level up
• Unlock order: Mark → Seal → Glyph (repeats 3 times)
• Quintessence slots unlock at levels 10, 20, and 30
• Tier 2 runes become available at level 10
• Tier 3 runes become available at level 20

Customization Features

• Pages can be renamed for quick identification (e.g., "ADC," "Bruiser")
• Same runes can be used on multiple pages simultaneously
• Create different setups based on champion or playstyle

Purchasing Options

• Additional pages available in the Riot Store under "Gameplay"
• Can purchase up to 18 extra pages (20 total)
• Special bundles often available at season start
• Single page costs 6300 IP

Rune Combiner System

• Allows combining unused runes
• Only same-tier runes can be combined
• Maximum combination result is tier 3
• Some valuable runes (armor penetration, magic penetration) unavailable through combining
• Combines must be done with unused runes only
• System designed for rune management and upgrades
