Iron Ambassador (Passive): Poppy's basic attacks gain bonus range and throw her buckler, dealing bonus magic damage. The buckler can be picked up to gain a shield, but enemies can step on it to destroy it.

Hammer Shock (Q): Poppy smashes the ground, dealing damage in a small area and creating a slow field. After 1 second, the area detonates again for additional damage.

Steadfast Presence (W): Passively gains armor and magic resist. When activated, Poppy gains movement speed and creates an aura that stops enemy dashes within the area.

Heroic Charge (E): Poppy tackles an enemy, dealing damage and carrying them forward. If they collide with terrain, they take additional damage and are stunned.

Keeper's Verdict (R): Poppy charges her hammer to knock enemies up and back either a short or long distance, based on charge time.

Skill Order Priority

  1. Q - Hammer Shock
  2. E - Heroic Charge
  3. W - Steadfast Presence
  4. R - Keeper's Verdict (at levels 6/11/16)

Starting Items

  • Steel Shoulderguards
  • 2 Health Potions
  • Stealth Ward

Core Build

  1. Locket of the Iron Solari
  2. Dead Man's Plate
  3. Force of Nature

Situational Items

  • Thornmail (vs heavy AD/healing)
  • Zeke's Convergence (with AA-based ADC)
  • Knight's Vow (to protect carry)
  • Abyssal Mask (vs magic damage)

Support Playstyle

  • Use W to counter engage supports and mobile champions
  • Position for wall stuns with E
  • Roam to mid when possible for strong gank potential
  • Protect carries with R by knocking away threats
  • Control vision around objectives with your tankiness

Key Combos

  1. E into wall > Q > Auto
  2. Flash > E into wall > Q
  3. R (short charge) > E into wall > Q

Prioritize peeling for your carries while looking for opportunities to engage with E-wall stuns. Your ultimate can be used both offensively to isolate targets and defensively to protect allies.
