NA LCS 2016 Summer Playoffs Preview: Six Teams Battle for Championship Glory

The 2016 NA LCS Summer Playoffs features six top teams competing for the championship at Toronto's Air Canada Centre. Team SoloMid and Immortals earned first-round byes as the top two seeds, while Cloud9, Team EnVyUs, Counter Logic Gaming, and Team Liquid will battle through the quarterfinals.
Team SoloMid dominated the regular season, going undefeated against all playoff teams. Their new support Biofrost has integrated well as they pursue their fourth title. Immortals finished second with only two losses (both to TSM), setting up a potential finals clash between the top seeds.
Cloud9 maintained third place through most of the split, showing occasional brilliance against the top teams. They face LCS newcomers Team EnVyUs, who started strong but barely qualified for playoffs. The winner advances to face Immortals.
Defending champions Counter Logic Gaming recovered from a slow start to make playoffs. They face Team Liquid, who stabilized after early-season struggles with jungler Dardoch. These teams compete for a semifinal matchup against TSM.
The playoffs begin August 13th with Cloud9 vs Team EnVyUs, followed by CLG vs Team Liquid on August 14th. Both matches are best-of-five series.
