League of Legends leak reveals flawed streamer mode coming to the Rift

A new streamer mode feature has been discovered in League of Legends' Public Beta Environment (PBE) files, though it appears to have significant limitations compared to similar features in other games.
Data miner r/FrankTheBoxMonster revealed that the upcoming feature will allow players to replace summoner names with champion names in various game elements, including chat, in-game announcements, and health bars.

However, the current implementation has a major flaw: players who don't have streamer mode enabled can still see the streamer's summoner name. This limitation significantly reduces its effectiveness in:
- Preventing stream sniping
- Protecting players from harassment
- Maintaining account privacy
