Shauna Vayne is a deadly Demacian monster hunter who dedicated her life to vengeance after a demon murdered her family. Armed with a wrist-mounted crossbow and silver bolts, she relentlessly hunts dark creatures from the shadows.

Born to the noble House Vayne, she lived a privileged life until finding her parents killed by a horned demon on her sixteenth birthday. Seeking revenge, she traveled to the Freljord and trained under Frey, a skilled monster hunter. However, upon discovering Frey's use of dark magic, Vayne executed her mentor without hesitation.
