Amaranth's Twinguard (Ruin) was a defensive item that was removed from the game in patch V5.2. It was later replaced by the standard Amaranth's Twinguard.

Core Stats:

  • 60 Armor
  • 55 Magic Resistance
  • Cost: 3100 gold

Recipe Components:

  • Negatron Cloak
  • Surging Scales
  • 900 gold (combination cost)

Unique Passives:

Endurance:

  • Generates one stack per second while in combat with champions
  • Maximum 5 stacks
  • Stacks expire when out of combat
  • At max stacks provides:
    • 30% increased size
    • 20% tenacity
    • 35% bonus armor and magic resistance

Withering:

  • Reduces base attack damage by 1-15 (scales with level)

Item Restrictions:

  • Limited to 1 Amaranth's Twinguard (Ruin) per champion

This item served as a powerful defensive option for tanks and fighters, offering both armor and magic resistance while providing significant combat durability through its Endurance passive. The Withering passive helped balance its defensive power by reducing the wielder's offensive capabilities.
