The proposed Rift Golem would remain dormant in the alcoves until detecting a lane swap attempt. Upon activation, it would:

• Distribute gold and buffs to the defending team
• Interact with the environment by stealing enemy camps
• Add entertaining elements through emotes and animations

The concept suggests using a Galio-like character made of Petricite, staying true to League's lore. The defender could be themed according to different regions, such as Captain Farron for the current Noxus-themed season.

This creative solution comes after Riot's February 22nd update, which implemented penalties and debuffs to discourage lane-swapping:
