League of Legends' new Arena mode introduces a fast-paced 2v2v2v2 format with its own unique ranking system. Here's everything you need to know about Arena ranks and how they work.
The Five Arena Ranks:
- Wood (0-1,399 RP)
- Bronze (1,400-2,599 RP)
- Silver (2,600-3,199 RP)
- Gold (3,200-3,799 RP)
- Gladiator (3,800+ RP)

How Ranking Works:
- Place in top 2 teams to gain ranked points
- Finishing 3rd or 4th results in point loss
- No promotion series between tiers
- No divisions within ranks
- Loss mitigation for first 5 games
Playing with Friends:
- You can duo queue with one friend
- Communication and strategy give you competitive advantage
- No normal/unranked mode available
