Riot Games has partnered with UVS Games to publish their upcoming League of Legends trading card game, codenamed Project K, with a planned global release in 2025. The game will first launch in China before expanding worldwide.

UVS Games brings significant experience in the trading card game industry, having developed the UniVersus CCG featuring popular franchises like Critical Role, Attack on Titan, and My Hero Academia. This expertise was a key factor in Riot's decision to partner with them.

Game director Dan Guskin emphasized that UVS's experience in the TCG space will help create an exceptional player experience for both card game enthusiasts and League of Legends fans. UVS Games vice president Zoe McNamara highlighted the game's strategic depth and visual design as key features.

The game's final name, card designs, and gameplay mechanics are still in development. More details, including specific release dates, are expected to be announced later this year. The project is being developed by Riot team members with extensive TCG experience, ensuring the game maintains high competitive standards while capturing the essence of League of Legends.
