Mark of the Storm (Passive)
Kennen's abilities apply marks to enemies. At 3 marks, enemies are stunned and take magic damage. Each enemy can only be stunned once every few seconds.

Thundering Shuriken (Q)
Throws an energized shuriken that deals magic damage and applies a mark. If it hits a target, Kennen gains energy back.

Electrical Surge (W)
PASSIVE: Every 5th attack deals bonus magic damage and applies a mark. ACTIVE: Deals damage to all marked enemies and applies another mark.

Lightning Rush (E)
Kennen transforms into a lightning ball, gaining movement speed, dealing magic damage to enemies he passes through, and applying marks. Grants attack speed after transforming back.

Slicing Maelstrom (R)
Creates a magical storm around Kennen that strikes nearby enemies multiple times, dealing magic damage and applying marks.

Optimal Skill Order:

  • First 3 levels: E > W > Q
  • Max order: Q > W > E (R whenever possible)

Core Build:

  • Starting: Doran's Blade + Health Potion
  • Core items: Hextech Rocketbelt > Zhonya's Hourglass > Rabadon's Deathcap

Playstyle:

  1. Use range advantage to harass with auto attacks
  2. Stack marks with abilities to stun enemies
  3. Save Lightning Rush (E) for engages or escapes
  4. Coordinate ultimate with team for maximum impact
  5. Position carefully in teamfights - you're squishy but need to be close for ultimate

Tips:

  • Start E level 1 for trading and escape
  • Use W passive for guaranteed mark application
  • Save energy for important combos
  • Build AP items with health for survivability
  • Practice positioning to maximize ultimate effectiveness

Key Matchups:

  • Strong against: Melee champions without gap closers
  • Weak against: Long-range mages, heavy sustain champions

This champion excels at team fights and lane bullying but requires good positioning and timing to be effective.
