Atakhan is a new epic monster in League of Legends Season 2025, spawning in either top or bottom river based on kill distribution. The monster appears at the 20-minute mark and spawns only once per game.

Two variants exist:

Ruinous Atakhan (High-Kill Games)

• Spawns when there are many kills by 14-minute mark
• Grants 25% increase on epic monster rewards
• Provides Blood Rose drops (permanent stacking bonuses for XP and adaptive force)

Voracious Atakhan (Low-Kill Games)

• Spawns when there are fewer kills by 14-minute mark
• Provides +40 gold per champion kill
• Grants 150-second death mitigation effect (reduced death timers)

Spawn Location:

• Top river: If more kills occur in top lane
• Bottom river: If more kills occur in bottom lane

Important Timeline Changes:

• Atakhan: Spawns at 20 minutes
• Rift Herald: Now spawns at 16 minutes (previously 14)
• Baron Nashor: Now spawns at 25 minutes (previously 20)

Team Benefits:

• All bonuses apply team-wide
• Blood Roses can be collected by any team member
• Effects benefit the entire team regardless of who collects them

While not as crucial as Baron or Void Grubs, Atakhan provides significant team advantages and should be prioritized when possible.
